Doctora en Filologia Catalana per la Universitat de Barcelona i professora de Literatura Comparada a la Universitat de les Illes Balears. Autora dels assaigs Blai Bonet: maneres del color (PAM, 1993) i Poesia insular de postguerra (PAM, 1998), Premi Crítica Serra d’Or (1999). Ha editat el Viatge a Alemanya i altres nacions d’Antoni M. Alcover (Edicions 62, 1996), i una antologia de B. Bonet a tres llengües: al gallec, Antoloxía poética (Espiral Maior, 2002); al francès, Le marin absent (Fédérop, 2003), i al castellà, Antología poética (Calambur, 2004). Juntament amb Caterina Sureda, ha editat el volum (Des)aïllats: narrativa contemporània i insularitat a les Illes Balears (UIB, 2004). Col·labora en diverses revistes d’assaig i és a punt de publicar el volum d’estudis que ha dirigit: Textualisme i subversió: formes i condicions de la narrativa experimental.

Doktorin für Katalanische Philologie an der Universität Barcelona und Professorin für Komparatistik an der Universität der Balearen. Aus ihrer Feder stammen die Aufsätze Blai Bonet: Farbweisen (PAM, 1993) und Die Poesie der Inseln nach dem Krieg (PAM, 1998), Preis der Kritik Serra d’Or (1999). Sie gab Reise nach Deutschland und in andere Länder von Antoni M. Alcover (Edicions 62, 1996) heraus, und eine Anthologie von B. Bonet in drei anderen Landessprachen: Galicisch, Antoloxía poética (Espiral Maior, 2002), Französisch, Le marin absent (Fédérop, 2003), und Kastellanisch, Antología poética (Calambur, 2004). Zusammen mit Caterina Sureda veröffentlichte sie den Band (Ent) isoliert: Zeitgenössische Prosa und spezifische Gegebenheiten auf den Balearischen Inseln (UIB, 2004). Sie ist Mitarbeiterin diverser Fachzeitschriften und stellt derzeit einen Band mit den von ihr geleiteten Studien zur Veröffentlichung zusammen: Textualismus und Subversion: Formen und Bedingungen des experimentellen Erzählens.

Margalida Pons is a Doctor of Catalan Philology from the University of Barcelona and is professor of Comparative Literature at the Balearic Islands University. She is author of the essays Blai Bonet: Manners of Color (PAM, 1993) and Insular Poetry of the Postwar (PAM, 1998), winner of the Crítica Serra d’Or Prize (1999). She has edited Antoni M. Alcover’s Voyage to Germany and Other Nations (Edicions 62, 1996) as well as an anthology of B. Bonet into three languages: Galician, Poetic Anthology (Espiral Maior, 2002); French, The Absent Sailor (Fédérop, 2003), and Spanish, Poetic Anthology (Calambur, 2004). Together with Caterina Sureda she has edited the volume (Un)isolated: Contemporary Narrative and Insularity in the Balearic Islands (UIB, 2004). She contributes to various journals and is on the verge of publishing a volume of studies she has headed: Textualism and Subversion: Forms and Conditoins of Experimental Narrative.
