During the 1930s Walter Benjamin spent long periods of time on the
island of Eivissa, first as a visitor and later living there in exile. The
time he spent there is reflected in his "Eivissa Series", a collection
of nine stories recounting his relationship with the island.
This exhibition offers manuscripts, pictures and other documentation
of this writer's and philosopher's experience in Eivissa.
