A creative and interpretive master, Llibert Fortuny is a leading figure in the Catalan jazz scene, having performed at all the most important jazz festivals in our country. Accompanied by his tight, solid band, Llibert Fortuny -an outstanding exponent of the creative new generation of jazz musicians now emerging in Barcelona, with their love of experimentation - serves up a powerful blend of bebop and rock on stage. The Fet a Catalunya programme of concerts forms part of Berlin's Popkomm Festival.

La Troba Kung-F� perform songs from genres that are easier to play than to define: rumba, dub, cumbia, sarao, blues, olivada& The band was formed in 2005 by leader Joan Garriga, returning after success with his previous group, Dusminguet, with a festive, intimate format keen to strike up alliances wherever the possibility crops up. The Fet a Catalunya programme of concerts forms part of Berlin's Popkomm Festival.

Those lending their talents to this heady mix include musicians from Spain, France, Bulgaria, Argentina, the USA, Morocco, Chile, the UK, Greece, Guinea, Palestine, the Netherlands and India. This is a union that gives us a musical melting pot in its purest, most essential form.
